Title : Indiana 1991
Format : 1 x 7 inch
Label : N/A
Cat. NO. : N/A
Date : N/A
Country : N/A
Sound Quality : N/A
Availability : Low
Price : $ 15 – $ 75
Comments : Rare bootleg. Claimed to be limited to 50 copies. 25 with black vinyl and 25 with transparent vinyl, all numbered.
In summer 2011, about 10 copies made it to various auction sites and forums. I can even be made as recent as late 2000′s?
Fact is, since i noticed those copies online, i never heard of this before i saw them like this. So either they were made a long time ago, and kept to silent collectors, or they are made little later, and never made it out of the box? Who knows…..

Country : Italy

Availability : Extremely Low. Only saw it once on Ebay, and once on a big fair.
Price : $ 30 – $ 100
Comments : a rare 2 disc bootleg, in a really nicely made gatefold sleeve. My guess would be that the sound-quality is good to very good. The indication on the sleeve says it was recorded live during “the last years”. Since there are Use Your Illusion era tracks, aswell as earlier songs, i think the best was taken to make the bootleg. Funny details, the Japanese writing and the note (in English) that is was made for the Japanese market only!!!

Title : Sweet Child O’ Mine
Format : 1 x 10 inch in special revolving sleeve
Cat. NO. : GEF 43 TE
Date : 1988
Country : UK
Availability : Rare
Price : $15 – $65
Comments : Three track 10 inch disc in special revolving sleeve. The top can be turned away, into the bottom half of the sleeve, to take out the record. This is the only 10 inch record that was released for Guns N’ Roses. There will be some tearing on the center of the sleeve, there is a metal pin holding it where it turns. With packaging this item, it will cause some tears or dents. Also, the outer point of the sleeve are thin, and fold easy.

Format : 1 x 7 inch Shaped Picture Disc
Cat. NO. : GEF 55 P
Date : May 1989
Country : UK
Availability : Good (the uncut is rare)
Price : $15 – $65
Comments : Two track shaped picture disc. Shaped like the logo on Appetite For Destruction (2nd release) and that was taken from a Tattoo on Axl’s arm. The Un-Cut version is hard to find. There are also some variations in color of vinyl. Most are transparent, but, there are known to versions on white and black vinyl. They are most likely test-pressings of this item, and are most likely to be found un-cut.

Price : $15 – $30
Comments : Japan Promo Single, both sides have the same track. There is no real sleeve. It is a WB / WEA sleeve with an insert.
Even though i have listed it as being a Promotional release, i am not entirely sure it really is one. It is rare though.

Comments : Spanish Double Promo Single. The B-side plays Welcome To The Jungle. It is listed correctly on the center-image on the disc, but it has the play-time of Sweet Child O’ Mine (5:55) instead of the time for Welcome To The Jungle (4:31). But, it does play the LP Version of Welcome To The Jungle.

Title : Duff Tracks

Format : 1 x 7 inch
Label : No Snakes
Cat. NO. : NS 012
Date : 1982
Country : USA
Sound Quality : Medium / Good
Availability : Very rare item (limited to 500 copies)
Price : Indeterminate
Comments : A rare bootleg, containing tracks from Duff McKagan. Played in various bands, way before he joined Guns N’ Roses.
Funny little detail, the image that is used on the front, later appeared on a bootleg called “Everybody’s Ass Is Up For Grabs!”. On the Duff one the word “ass” is stroked out, and replaced by the word “past”. It is signed by “Robt. Williams”, features a naked girl in dispare, so might be same artist that made the Appetite For Destruction artwork?

The tracks here above are recorded by me, from the actual bootleg vinyl.
They are here to give a general idea of the sound that is on the discs.
The tracks were recorded in better quality, but were
converted to 64 kbps mp3′s to save space and loading times.

These are things i photographed, photoshopped and retouched in many way’s. Some is plain album art, wellknown to all, but, the images are digitally enhanced and layers were made to make loose pictures of pieces of complete works. Others are photographed patches, and those were a little hard to make look good, specially a small patch.
Here are images of things that i don’t have myself. If you have any good quality images or patches, and you would like to help me put more for grabs here, mail to me.

Collection of various postcards. Some were easy to find, others are pretty rare. The collectors value is low, but they are nice to have. You can find them for $0.25 cts, used, or even in stores, new, for over $5 a piece.

Title : World Tour 1992
Format : 3 x 12 Inch
Label : Vinyl Virus
Cat. NO. : VV LP 011
Date : 1992
Country : Germany
Sound Quality : Very Good (the show was recorded and broadcasted in many countries. So, it’s a pro-recording)
Availability : Low (seen it only once, and bought it)
Also available on : CD bootleg and DVD bootleg.
Price : $55 – $75
Comments : This is a full show. Songs are placed on the lp’s without being cut or shortened. There is some fading in and fading out on the beginnings and the ends of the records-sides, but never in the middle of a song or solo. I would personally think this as one of the best vinyl boots (in sound-quality and performance) of Guns N’ Roses out there.
Special guest performances by Lenny Kravitz, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry (Aerosmith). Jeff Beck was also scheduled to play Locomotive but he canceled out because of problems with his hearing.

Comments : Available on normal black vinyl, but also on marbled blue vinyl. The one with the white/yellow picture, is a basic white cardboard sleeve, with an A4 inlay about the content. It is most likely on that has lost the sleeve, or the sleeves were not printed when it was released.

These advertisements are mainly page size, posted in magazines and newspapers. Some were large, send to stores to publish on window or wall.
These images are taken from the web and from various books. Because they were mainly to small to be nicely presented, i have re-made some of them. The reason there is a small watermark, is simply because real collectors want the real deal, and i don’t want these “bootlegged” images to be sold as real. Because they are not.

Price : $15 – $25 (however hard to find, there seems not to be huge market for such books)
Comments : Personally, i think these are the good ones to get, part 1 and part 2. They give a nice history and tell the tale good. The images are great too.
Content : The second part of this little history book with nice waterpaint pictures. It is written a little as a detective, without being only straight to the facts. As a bonus, some quotes and extra’ s on the last pages.
The complete book is available for download (images in High res. 1300×850 @ 100 dpi) Next to the “audio-icon” on the lower right side in the little menu bar there is a download-button.
The book is complete, as show here above, but has some minor watermarkings, so it won’t be easy to sell or distribute otherwise.
Please, no hotlinking to the files. If you feel the need to share them elsewhere, upload them to another server.

Title : In Tokyo
Format : 2 x 12 Inch
Label : Vingt Et un
Cat. NO. : N/A
Date : 1992
Country : France
Sound Quality : Very Good (Pro-shot for video, so the sound is perfect)
Availability : Low
Also available on : Officially released Laserdisc, VHS and DVD. Those are called “Use Your Illusion I” and “Use Your Illusion II”. Also on many CD Bootlegs.
Price : $35 – $65
Comments : The sleeve is a direct copy from the Laser-Disc sleeve. The content on the discs is most likely to be taken from that aswell. Comes with an inlay with lyrics. This is a full show.

Title : I Wanna Watch You Bleed
Format : 2 x 12 inch
Label : Black & White Records / HERMANOS DE ANTRAR M S/A
Cat. NO. : SA 5E9X3 (for the Hermanos version, the other one does not seem to have a real number?)
Date : 1989
Country : UK / Columbia
Sound Quality : Medium
Availability : Medium
Price : $25 – $50 (price indication is for the version with Slash on the front sleeve, the other version is more rare)
Comments : On the back is written : “For promotional use only, not for sale”
On the back is mentioned that the lp is distributed in the UK by Malin Enterprises, it was made in Columbia and on the disc centers is claims to be made in Canada….. You tell me…..
The second version has no name on the back (images wanted) and has another image. The image is taken from the cover of the Official Press Release from Appetite For Destruction and LIES. That version is very rare, i have not been able to spot a good image of it for now. As far as i know, the content is the same, as are the disc centers on both versions.
