Date : N/A (most likely somewhere 1987 or 1988)
Country : N/A (most likely the UK)
Sound Quality : Medium

Price : $20 – $45

Comments : Tracks might appear in different order on the discs.
The disc-centers variate in color, but have no information.
The tracks are scratched in the discs but don’t always have
a “side-indication” (either side A or B).

The blue version here has mentioned on the back :
“SPECIAL JAPANESE EDITION 300 COPIES”.There is also a more
gray sleeve known. Those and the blue one and the brown version
(here above) are the most rare versions of this bootleg.
Also, other then the pink or yellow version, the blue version has large holes,
where the others have small holes.

The pink versions have variations in color. As seen here above,
the text-color may vary a bit. This is not caused by taking the
images with or without flash, they are really different.
They both claim to be limited to 500 copies, and have the item no.
either handwritten or “stamped” next to the “500″ note.

The disc-centers have a load of information. Calling this a promo,
not for sale and many other things. In fact, it is a bootleg.
The content is the same as the pink one, but just with another
sleeve, and disc centers. Most likely this is made little later as
the pink versions.

Title : Duff Tracks
Second Title : Punk Roots Vol. 1
Format : 1 x 7 inch
Label : No Snakes
Cat. NO. : NS 012
Date : 1982
Country : USA
Sound Quality : Medium / Good

Availability : Very rare item (limited to 500 copies)
Price : Indeterminate

Comments : A rare bootleg, containing tracks from Duff McKagan. Played in various bands, way before he joined Guns N’ Roses.
Funny little detail, the image that is used on the front, later appeared on a bootleg called “Everybody’s Ass Is Up For Grabs!”. On the Duff one the word “ass” is stroked out, and replaced by the word “past”. It is signed by “Robt. Williams”, features a naked girl in dispare, so might be same artist that made the Appetite For Destruction artwork?

Title : Guns N’ Roses Was Here
Second Title : Often referred to as “My Michelle”.
Format : 1 x 7 inch
Label : Phono-Karell / Swe-Disc
Cat. NO. : PK 102
Date : 1988
Country : Sweden
Sound Quality : Medium (there are bootlegs that have much better audio from this show)

Availability : Medium / Low
Price : $15 – $45 (i have seen price go much higher, and though it is rare, that seems a bit high to me. Even though this a wanted item among fans, because it is so wellknown)

Comments : Even thought there is a rough but smooth looking Geffen Logo on the front, this is no official release. The “9 24148-2″ number on the front is a number used by Geffen for “Appetite For Destruction” releases on CD.

Content : 02-02-1988 – The Ritz, New York

Side A :

  1. My Michelle

Side B :

  1. Knockon’ On Heaven’s Door
Same track / source as on the “Live US 89” bootleg.

Title : Indiana 1991
Format : 1 x 7 inch
Label : N/A
Cat. NO. : N/A
Date : N/A
Country : N/A
Sound Quality : N/A

Availability : Low
Price : $ 15 – $ 75

Comments : Rare bootleg. Claimed to be limited to 50 copies. 25 with black vinyl and 25 with transparent vinyl, all numbered.
In summer 2011, about 10 copies made it to various auction sites and forums. I can even be made as recent as late 2000′s?
Fact is, since i noticed those copies online, i never heard of this before i saw them like this. So either they were made a long time ago, and kept to silent collectors, or they are made little later, and never made it out of the box? Who knows…..

Title : Limited Edition Double Pack

Format : 2 x 7 inch
Label : Grease The Palm
Cat. NO. : GPR 1/2
Date : 1989
Country : USA
Sound Quality : Medium

Availability : Medium
Price : $10 – $35

Comments : The “Grease The Palm” is written big on the back, and therefore the title is often mistaken. The disc centers mention “Shotgun And The Two Lips. Also an often mistaken title. The titles on the sleeve are correct, on the disc they are named fairly odd. See track list below.

Title : Limited Edition Double Single
Second Titles : “Pink Lady”.
Format : 2 x 7 inch
Label : Pink Lady Records
Cat. NO. : N/A
Date : 1990
Country : USA
Sound Quality : Medium

Availability : Medium
Price : $10 – $35

Comments : The “Pink Lady Records” is only visible on the disc centers. But, is sometimes used as title for this bootleg. One side of the disc centers show an old cowboy on his horse, the other side shows the content. There is something weird here though. “The Steve Hollier Quartet” is mentioned, and the track names are spelled weird.

Format : 2 x 7 inch
Label : Baked On Mess
Cat. NO. : N/A
Date : 1988
Country : USA
Sound Quality : Good

Availability : Rare
Price : $20 – $45

Comments : There are 2 versions with the main title “Victory Or Death”. Only this one is also known as “Baked On Mess”, but that might actually be the label that released this bootleg.
The version with 2 sleeves is hard to find as a pair. The “Don’t Cry / Shadow Of Your Love” is, when for sale, most of the time listed as one item, when in fact it is a real part of the pair.
To find the Colombian version, two separate discs in separate sleeves in one sale, is really rare.
